During my career as a dentist in the United States Army, I gave much thought to what my ideal dental practice would be like when it came time to leave the service. Carefree Smile is a practice that provides quality and compassionate dental care in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. It is an honor to be entrusted by you to provide your dental care.
Not only is Carefree Smile my ideal type of practice, but I also love its location close to my home. My wife Ashley is completing her surgical training in Plastic Surgery at the Mayo Clinic, and we look forward to long careers here in the North Scottsdale area. Although we are both from the Bluegrass of Kentucky, we have fallen in love with the desert and are happy to call it home.
I have been fortunate to have a career rich with unique experiences. I attended the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry, where I provided dental care in the hills of Appalachia. I love mission work and directed a dental mission to Haiti where I will be returning again in 2017. As a dental officer in the US Army, I completed my Masters of Business Administration at Texas A&M while at Fort Hood. Also during that time, I served as the installation’s forensic dental examiner. My final military assignment was at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, where I mentored new dentists just beginning their military careers.
As I enter this new phase of my career, my goal is that you will find the same sense of familiarity and kindness at Carefree Smile. I will strive to provide the same quality, compassionate care that you have come to expect. I look forward to serving you and getting to know each of you personally.
