Hillary Clinton’s Teeth and Smile
A few weeks ago, we took a look at and discussed the brilliantly white teeth of Donald J. Trump. In this post, we briefly discuss the teeth of Secretary Hillary Clinton. This is a good time to point out that we are a dental practice serving North Scottsdale, Cave Creek, and Carefree. We absolutely, positively do not have any relation to any political candidate and do not make any endorsements.
Judging from this photo and others we have seen, it appears that Secretary Clinton has a three unit bridge from her right canine to right central incisor. A dental bridge such as the one we are seeing in this photo would be necessary due to a missing tooth, in this case a lateral incisor. Lateral incisors are often congenitally missing, but it is also not uncommon to lose a front tooth due to trauma or infection. We do not have access to high resolution photos to try to track the timeline of Hillary Clinton’s teeth.
Despite a dentist’s best efforts and a skilled lab technician, this bridge is still noticeable due to its unilateral placement. In many cases to hide the asymmetry of necessary dental restorations, a patient may opt for a complete set of veneers so that no tooth stands out. Hillary has opted for a more natural look, rather than bright white veneers like her opponent.
